“TES” Thermal Energy Storage

The goal is to store energy in a thermal reservoir for later use.

The system consists of 2 main components:

Chiller unit Chassis configuration + Economizer

Cold storage tank – PCM pallets.

The system operates in 3 cycles of operation:

• Grid voltage / generator-chiller – site refrigerator + storage tank – maximum consumption
• Economizer – at night low outdoor temperature – cooling is done by introducing outdoor air Consumption blower + circulating pump only
• Storage tank – provides cold water for cooling the site – consumption blower + circulating pump only
